Notion AI
Notion AI is genuinely useful if Notion is already your team's knowledge home — Q&A grounded in your actual workspace pages, page summaries, and inline drafting on any block. Recent versions added connected search across Slack, Google Drive, and GitHub so you can ask one question and get an answer pulled across systems. It's not the sharpest standalone writer, but the integration story makes it the right add-on for Notion-native teams.

What it's good for
- 1
Answering "where did we document our refund policy?" across hundreds of internal pages
- 2
Generating action-item summaries from long meeting-note pages
- 3
First-draft writing inside the page you'll publish — blog posts, specs, briefs
- 4
Translating internal docs across languages for distributed teams
- 5
Auto-filling structured database fields (categorisation, summaries, sentiment) at scale
How to use it
Turn on AI for the workspace and use the AI block (`/ai`) inline anywhere you write. For workspace Q&A, hit Ask AI in the search bar; it cites the specific pages it pulled from. Connect Slack, Google Drive, and GitHub from the integrations panel so search reaches beyond Notion. For repeat tasks, use AI Autofill on a database property to summarise or categorise rows automatically as they're added.
