Features

What Product Bundles Does

Built for performance, designed for simplicity.

Dedicated Bundle product type in the standard Add Product dropdown, not a grouped-product workaround
Curated fixed kits: you choose the products, customers buy the set
Four pricing modes: sum of items, fixed price, discount off the sum, per-item override
"You save" line showing the kit price against buying each item separately
No-caveat block cart and Store API support, alongside the classic shortcode cart
Zero frontend footprint: no scripts or styles on pages without a bundle; a fully locked kit ships no JavaScript at all
One-click importer for WPC Product Bundles and Easy Product Bundles
Pin a specific product variation (like "Red / Large") as a bundle item
Author-set per-item quantities, each one locked or customer-adjustable
Whole-bundle quantity: two kits means every component doubles correctly
Discounts distribute across real component lines with penny reconciliation, so tax reconciles exactly
One add-to-cart adds the whole kit as a single atomic group
Real component line items keep their own stock and SKU for clean fulfillment
Bundle stock is the minimum buyable across its items
Locked component quantities in cart; removing a component removes the whole kit, never orphans it
Server-authoritative pricing: totals always recalculate from the stored bundle
HPOS-compatible orders with a self-describing bundle snapshot
List or image-grid display with lazy thumbnails, per-item View links, and an optional quick-view lightbox
Accessible: labeled quantity controls, keyboard operability, and an accessible quick-view lightbox
Translation ready

Overview

Why Product Bundles?

Product Bundles adds a dedicated Bundle product type to WooCommerce. A bundle is a curated set of products that you choose, sold together as one kit: one product page, one price, one add-to-cart. The customer never picks which products are in the kit. The composition is fixed by you, and the only thing the customer adjusts is quantity, per item where you allow it and for the whole bundle.

Pricing works the way a real store needs it to. Price the kit as the sum of its items, set a fixed bundle price, take a percent or fixed amount off the sum, or override individual item prices. Discounts are distributed across the real component lines with penny reconciliation, so tax is calculated on what each line actually costs and the totals reconcile exactly. A "you save" line shows customers what the kit saves versus buying each piece separately.

In the cart, a bundle is a group of real line items: the bundle plus each component with its own SKU, price, and stock. Component quantities are locked to the bundle so the group can never drift apart, and removing a component removes the whole kit instead of leaving orphaned pieces behind. Pricing is always recalculated on the server from the stored bundle, never trusted from the browser. All of it works on the block cart and Store API as well as the classic shortcode cart, and orders are HPOS-compatible with a self-describing snapshot, so fulfillment sees exactly which items to pick.

The product page display is yours to shape. Show the kit as a compact list or an image grid, with lazy thumbnails, per-item "View" links, and an optional quick-view lightbox that stays off until you enable it. Everything is configured on one settings screen under the MaxtDesign menu.

And it stays out of your way. Pages without a bundle load no scripts and no styles from this plugin, and a fully locked kit renders with no JavaScript at all. Moving from another bundles plugin? A one-click importer brings your existing WPC Product Bundles and Easy Product Bundles kits across, idempotently, and flags anything it cannot map instead of guessing. The free core is complete on its own. A Pro add-on will follow with tier and conditional discounts, bundle templates and cloning, per-bundle analytics, and frequently-bought-together suggestions.
