Treasure Valley web design, built by the person who writes the code
Custom WordPress, WooCommerce, and Next.js sites for businesses across the Treasure Valley. You work directly with Cody, not an account manager and an offshore queue. One developer, one standard, every project.

Treasure Valley, Idaho
One developer, the whole Treasure Valley
Most web design in the Treasure Valley comes in two flavors. There is the national template shop that drops your logo into a layout a thousand other businesses already use, and there is the agency that books you with a salesperson, hands the build to a junior contractor, and routes your questions through a project manager who has never opened the code. I am a third option. I am Cody, I run MaxtDesign solo out of Nampa, and the person who scopes your site is the person who writes its code and answers your email a year later.
I build for businesses from Boise to Caldwell: Meridian, Eagle, Kuna, Star, Garden City, and my home base in Nampa. That local footprint is not a marketing line, it is how the work happens. I know the difference between a Boise SaaS startup that needs a fast marketing site and a rural shop near Mountain Home that needs a hero image to load in under a second on weak mobile signal. Same standard, different problem, and I scope each one on its own terms instead of forcing it into a package.
Every site I ship is built to be genuinely fast and genuinely yours. Real performance, clean code, and the kind of structure that ranks because Google can actually read it, not because I padded it with filler. If you want the broader, non-local picture of how the WordPress and WooCommerce work runs, that lives on the main web development service page. This page is about doing it here, in the valley, with a real local developer.
What's included
What you get
Every build, whatever the size, comes with the same standard.
One developer, start to finish
You talk to me on the first call and I am still the one in the code at launch and after. No handoff to a contractor, no account manager translating your request into a ticket someone else misreads. For a small business owner, that single line of accountability is worth more than a bigger logo on the proposal.
WordPress, WooCommerce, and Next.js
Most Treasure Valley businesses want WordPress they can update themselves, a WooCommerce store that actually converts, or a fast custom site on modern tooling. I build all three. The right stack depends on your work, not on what I feel like building this month, and I will tell you straight which one fits.
Performance that holds up
Sites I ship target Lighthouse scores in the high 90s with Core Web Vitals green, measured live, not promised. That matters everywhere, but it matters more here where a real chunk of your customers are on rural Idaho mobile signal that punishes a bloated build.
Local structure that ranks
City pages, service pages, and schema set up so search engines can read what you do and where you do it. This is the same local-SEO structure I use on my own site to rank across the valley, applied to yours.
Built to hand back to you
When the build is done you own everything: the code, the content, the accounts. No proprietary lock-in, no ransom for your own site. If you ever want to move on, you can, which is exactly why most clients do not.
Proof
Real work, real numbers

BCAutoWerx
Hero loads in under 1 second on rural 4G, measured live with WebPageTest from a mid-Idaho location.
A Mountain Home, Idaho custom shop that needed a site fast enough for buyers on weak rural signal and sharp enough to filter out wrong-fit inquiries. It is the clearest proof that local Idaho work has constraints a national template shop never accounts for, and it surfaces on searches like custom upholstery Treasure Valley.

Slaacr
Core Web Vitals stay green with near-zero CLS even on dense, image-heavy gallery pages.
A Next.js editorial publication with a 4K-plus image pipeline on R2 edge cache. It shows the work goes well past WordPress: when a project needs real engineering on the image and performance side, that capability is in-house, not subcontracted.

MantleWP
First branded client report ships in under 15 minutes after signup, fully white-labeled, with AI executive summaries per report.
My flagship SaaS, built and operated solo: a Next.js dashboard, a WordPress connector plugin, and a server-side PDF engine. It is the proof that the same person handling your small-business site has shipped and runs production software, so your build is in steady hands.

Frequently asked questions
Common questions about web design across the Treasure Valley.
Let's build your Treasure Valley site
Most custom builds start around $9,000. That is a real design-and-build number, calibrated so that if you have more than one project of work, the monthly retainer is the obvious better deal. If your budget lands under $5,000, the quote form will tell you honestly and point you to someone who fits that range, so nobody wastes a month finding out. No pressure either way, just a straight answer.
