What works on which host

Claude Code (and Cowork-Desktop) get the full experience. Other hosts get the same methods, applied manually. This is by design: the methods are the durable value, and they travel everywhere.

  • Auto-discovery (a skill triggers itself from your task). Claude Code only. Elsewhere you invoke a method by referencing it.
  • Slash commands (/onboard). Claude Code only. Elsewhere, walk the same Q&A manually.
  • Panels and collaboration: Claude Code only (it can run subagents). Elsewhere, "convene a panel" becomes "apply the reviewer's method to the chair's output yourself".
  • Profile auto-load: Claude Code reads profile.md on demand. Elsewhere, paste the relevant profile sections when a skill needs them.

    • Common issues

    A skill is not being discovered (Claude Code)

    Skills install flat. Confirm each folder is directly under ~/.claude/skills/, for example ~/.claude/skills/code-review-senior/SKILL.md, not nested under a single wrapper folder. Then start a fresh session. Run claude --debug and look for skill-discovery logs.

    `/onboard` is not recognized

    If /onboard is not a command, the skills were not discovered. See the item above. On non-Claude-Code hosts there are no slash commands at all; run onboarding manually using the onboard adapter.

    A skill is not using my business context

    Make sure you have run /onboard and that profile.md exists at your pack root. On hosts without profile auto-load, paste the relevant profile sections into the conversation.

    My download link expired

    Updates

    All 1.x updates are included. When a new version ships, you get an email with the new download. Re-copy or re-paste the updated files; there is no auto-update on non-Claude-Code hosts.
