Installation

Note: Product Bundles is in review on WordPress.org right now. Once it is approved, you will install it from your WordPress dashboard using the steps below. Until then, reach out from the contact page and we will send you the latest build.

Requirements

  • WordPress 6.4 or newer
  • PHP 8.1 or newer
  • WooCommerce active (the plugin declares WooCommerce as a required plugin, so WordPress 6.5+ enforces this for you)

    • Automatic Installation (once approved, recommended)

  • 1.Log in to your WordPress admin panel
  • 2.Go to Plugins → Add New
  • 3.Search for "MaxtDesign Product Bundles"
  • 4.Click Install Now, then Activate

    • Manual Installation

  • 1.Download the plugin ZIP
  • 2.Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
  • 3.Choose the ZIP file and click Install Now
  • 4.Click Activate Plugin

    • Create your first bundle

  • 1.Go to Products → Add New
  • 2.In the Product data dropdown, choose Bundle
  • 3.Open the Bundle tab that appears
  • 4.Search for products and add them as items. To bundle a specific variation, pick the variation (like "Red / Large") in the item row
  • 5.Set a quantity for each item, and choose whether the customer can adjust it
  • 6.Pick a pricing mode: Sum of items, Fixed price, Discount off the sum, or Per-item override
  • 7.Click Publish

    • The product page now shows the kit contents, the total, and one Add to Cart button. If the bundle price beats buying the items separately, a savings line appears automatically.
