What /onboard does
/onboard is the setup flow. It runs once after install and asks about your SEO practice: your service model (in-house, freelance, agency of one), the niches you work in, your tooling and budget tier, which data you can access (Search Console, GA4, a rank tracker, a crawler), and your client reporting cadence. It writes all of that to a single profile.md file at your pack root.
Every other skill reads that profile on demand, only when it needs context. So instead of re-stating your niche or which tools you have on every task, you tell the pack once and it remembers. Audits scale to your hours, reports match your cadence, and tool recommendations match your budget.
Running it
/onboard in a fresh session. A guided, 10 to 20 minute Q&A.onboard adapter, then save the result as profile.md.Good to know
/onboard writes the profile. Other skills read it; they never overwrite it. Update it by running /onboard again.
