What works on which host

Claude Code (and Cowork-Desktop) get the full experience. Other hosts get the same methods, applied manually. The methods are the durable value, and they travel everywhere.

  • Auto-discovery (a skill triggers itself) and slash commands (/onboard): Claude Code only. Elsewhere you invoke a method by referencing it, and run onboarding as a manual Q&A.
  • Panels and collaboration: Claude Code only. Elsewhere, "convene a panel" becomes applying the reviewer's method to the chair's output yourself.
  • Profile auto-load: Claude Code reads profile.md on demand. Elsewhere, paste the relevant profile sections when a skill needs them.

    • Connecting Search Console and GA4

    The data-hungry skills (technical audit, indexation debug, reporting, forecasting) work best with live data. Two ways to supply it:

  • The Agent Analytics MCP (recommended): read-only, bring-your-own Google OAuth. Authorize once and the GSC/GA4 skills read live. Setup guide: github.com/MaxtDesign/agent-analytics-mcp.
  • Manual exports: export the Search Console Performance and Pages reports, or the relevant GA4 explorations, and paste them. The skills tell you exactly which export they need.

    • Either way, a skill that lacks data it needs says so and uses the free-signal fallback rather than inventing numbers.

    Common issues

    A skill is not discovered (Claude Code)

    Skills install flat. Confirm each folder is directly under ~/.claude/skills/, then start a fresh session. Run claude --debug and look for skill-discovery logs.

    The MCP says "not connected to Google"

    Run the authorize tool (or pnpm auth) once to connect your account. If it reports no refresh token, revoke prior access at myaccount.google.com/permissions and authorize again.
